This remarkable mediaeval hall has been lovingly restored over the past 10 years using the authentic materials with which it would have originally been built. All modern materials such as plasterboard and cement floors have been removed and replaced with 'breathable' materials such as wattle and daub and lime-based plaster, also the windows have largely been replaced with hand blown glass. There is a glass covered original well in the kitchen, and most of the rooms have working fireplaces.
